When I organized my comics after my Wednesday night run to the shop, Birds of Prey #4 went right to the top of the stack. I’ve been into Birds of Prey since Chuck Dixon’s first one shot, but the book has never been as good as it is right now. By the fifth page, Gail Simone and Ed Benes confirmed that I made the right choice to read BoP first. If you aren’t reading Birds of Prey right now, let me give you five reasons that Birds of Prey #4 will kick your ass!

Never fear; I’m here to help. I’m going to recommend five graphic novels, all of which are collections of comics that were published as singles issues, that will fill that hole enough for you to get by.
